From Velvet to Moss
From Velvet to Moss
For 27 years, I was very pink. Very feminine. Very girl.
Long pink hair. A name that tasted like sugar: Jade Rose.
Dripping in everything womanhood had to offer.
Drunk in love with myself.
Submissive, demure, nurturing, enduring.
A container. A haven.
Effervescent, bubbly, creative.
Velvet decadence… the kind you only find in a French brothel. Curated. Gilded.
Now we have Quinn.
Quinn is not Jade… but of Jade.
Jade is still here. She is the foundation.
Quinn is more direct. More steady.
Curious. Clear. Quiet in a way that doesn’t need glitter.
Happier in moss and shade.
It’s the comparison between velvet and moss.
Both decadent. One curated, the other a natural occurrence.
Both can be appreciated by those who press their palms into soft moss just to linger a little longer.
That’s where I live now.
Between the velvet and the moss.
Quinn as emergence, Jade as foundation.
Both real. Both me.
You’ve been here before, but the furniture’s been rearranged.
Would you like the tour… if you’re ready?
And if you’re new, welcome. Let’s start at the beginning.
